Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York) has announced it is extending performances at the Criterion Theatre in the West End by seven weeks. The popular new British musical is now booking until 31st August.
Kit Buchan and Jim Barne's musical transferred into the West End earlier this month, following its extended and sold-out run at London's Kiln Theatre.
Olivier Award winner Sam Tutty stars in the production as Dougal alongside Dujonna Gift as Robin.
The full creative team behind the show features director and choreographer Tim Jackson, lighting designer Jack Knowles, designer Soutra Gilmour, orchestration by Lux Pyramid, and sound designer Tony Gayle.
The plot of the musical follows the fortunes of Dougal as he arrives in New York for his dad's second wedding. Once there, he meets the sister of the bride and native New Yorker Robin and, together, they embark on an eventful 36-hour journey across the city.
