A stage adaptation of Irvine Welsh's Trainspotting is to play a limited three week season at Riverside Studios as part of a nationwide tour with performances set to run from October 18th until November 6th.
Trainspotting is set in Edinburgh in the late-1980s and follows Mark (Rentboy) Renton and his friends as they attempt to navigate their way through a drug-fuelled adolescence.
Trainspotting Live is an immersive production with a talented cast featuring Michael Lockerbie as Sick Boy, Olivier Sublet as Mother Superior and Begbie, Andrew Barrett as Renton, Greg Esplin as Tommy, Lauren Downie as June and Allison, Toby Holloway, Kyle Matson, and Olivia Caw.
Trainspotting is directed by Adam Spreadbury Maher and features lighting design by Clancy Flynn and sound design by Tom Lishman.
There are several productions that are currently home to Riverside Studios with a musical adaptation of Saving Grace featuring music by KT Tunstall also set to will in November, and CAGES playing until January 2023. tickets to CAGES are currently available to book on Theatretickets-London.co.uk
