'The Great Gatsby' Sets Date For Final London Performance

London's most popular immersive production, The Great Gatsby is to play its final performance at Immersive LDN on January 7th, 2023. Tickets to The Great Gatsby are available to book securely online.

After starting out back in 2015 at The Fleeting Arms in York, the production moved to the capital and premiered in London at the VAULT Festival in 2017, before subsequent venue changes moved the production first to Gatsby’s Drugstore in SE1, and then finally to its current home at Gatsby’s Mansion in 2019 making The Great Gatsby the longest-running immersive show in London.

Speaking of the production, producer Brian Hook commented “Gatsby has had a triumphant run over the last seven years and has been enjoyed by hundreds of thousands of audience members who have dressed up, danced and raised good cheer with us. It's been a constant source of pride, enjoyment and light. It’s the thing I’m proudest of in my career.”

The Great Gatsby is set in 1920s New York and follows the lives of wealthy socialite New Yorkers as they congregate at one of Jay Gatsby's many infamous parties.

The Great Gatsby show is based on the novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald of the same name and features a cast that includes Elliot Liburd as Jay Gatsby, Toby Gordon as Joey,  Ladha as Daisy Buchanan, Jessica Hern, as Jordan Baker, Greg Fossard as Nick Carraway, Euan Wilson as Tom Buchanan, Steve McCourt as George Wilson, Aimee Barrett as Myrtle Wilson, Sophia Lewis as Lucille, and Harry Pudwell as Rosy Rosenthal.

The production is both adapted and directed by Alexander Wright. Oliver Tilney and Amie Burns Walker are Associate Directors and the wider creative team features sound design by Phil Grainger, costume design by Heledd Rees, choreography is by Holly Beasley-Garrigan, with design by Casey Jay Andrews, and lighting design by Rachel Sampley.

The Great Gatsby will continue at Immersive LDN until January 7th,2023.
