The Playhouse Theatre has been uniquely reconfigured for this production to seat patrons in the round, thus creating a more intimate and immersing experience in the auditorium. Cabaret is set in Berlin during the early 1930s and follows American writer Cliff Bradshaw who meets English cabaret singer Sally Bowles, a regular performer at the 'Kit Kat Club' just as the rise and influence of Nazism is beginning to creep in and affect all aspects of life in the city and threatens this hedonistic haven leftover from the Weimar Republic.
