Following over three successful years of showcasing at the Shaftesbury Theatre in London’s West End, the popular Jukebox musical & Juliet has announced that the final performance of the musical at the venue will be on March 25th, 2023.
The plot of & Juliet is a modern take on what could be the aftermath of William Shakespeare’s ‘Romeo & Juliet’ and imagines what Juliet would have done if she didn’t die at the end of the play. The story is told by Shakespeare and his wife, and sees Juliet embarking on a coming-of-age journey and travelling to Paris to discover who she is as an individual and independent woman without ‘Romeo’.
