Casting has now been announced for Scooter Piestch’s lottery-based new comedy Windfall, which will begin previews at Southwark Playhouse Borough on February 9th, ahead of a scheduled opening night on February 14th, and performances due to run to March 11th.
Windfall follows the outrageous fortunes of five office workers who risk their lives for a $500-million lottery ticket. Just the thought of winning the jackpot changes everything for them as lovers become rivals, and friends refuse to see eye to eye.
The Play That Goes Wrong director Mark Bell will direct Strictly Come Dancing winner Joanne Clifton whose recent stage credits since winning the show in 2016 include UK tours of 'The Rocky Horror Show' and 'The Addams Family'. The rest of the company is made up of Gabriel Paul, Audrey Anderson, Judith Amsenga, Jack Bennett, and Wesley Griffith.
The creative team behind the show will feature lighting design by Robbie Butler, set and costume design by Rachel Stone, and fight direction by Dave Nolan.
