Mean Girls In London To Close In June
The popular West End musical Mean Girls will finish its run at the Savoy Theatre on 8 June, ahead of embarking on a UK tour in 2026. The show has been showcased at the venue since June 2024.
Tina Fey's musical has so far been seen by over 350,000 people and follows the fortunes of teenager Cady Heron who is initiated into the world of toxic female friendships and high school cliques after moving to Illinois in the US from Africa.
The current cast of the show features Charlie Burn (Cady Heron), Elèna Gyasi (Gretchen Wieners), Tom Xander (Damian Hubbard), Georgina Castle (Regina George), Grace Mouat (Karen Smith), Elena Skye (Janis Sarkisian), and Daniel Bravo (Aaron Samuels). Further members of the principal cast include Ako Mitchell (Mr. Duvall), Lucca Chadwick-Patel (Kevin Ganatra), and Zoë Rainey (Ms Norbury, Ms Heron, and Mrs George).
They are joined by Liam Buckland, Georgia Arron, Fergie Fraser, Shonah Buwu, Josh Singleton, Baylie Carson, Freddie Clements, Tia Antoine-Charles, Siobhan Diffin, Angus Good, Tommy Wade-Smith, Clíona Flynn, Jenny Huxley-Golden, Annie Southall, Holly Liburd, Corey Mitchell, Aharon Rayner, Mervin Noronha, Lillia Squires, Trézel Sergeant, and Holly Willock.
The creative team behind the show features direction and choreography by Casey Nicholaw, book writer Tina Fey, music by Jeff Richmond, lyrics by Nell Benjamin, costume designer Katrina Lindsay, set designer Scott Pask, lighting designer Kenneth Posner, video designers Finn Ross and Adam Young, sound designer Brian Ronan, and musical supervisor Mary-Mitchell Campbell.
Mean Girls will continue performances at the Savoy Theatre until 8 June.
