The Union Theatre is a small London fringe theatre located beneath railway arches in Southwark. The theatre is one of the most distinctive theatrical spaces in London. It was established by Sasha Regan in 1998 and has a reputation for staging musicals.
The theatre benefits from excellent transport links and is located close to Southwark tube station and a short walk from Waterloo and Blackfriars national rail stations making it ideal for those working and living in central London and those travelling from further afield.
The venue features a black box theatre space with one brick-featured wall and has raked seating, full lighting, a sound system, and a full fixed theatre lighting rig.
The neutral space is ideal for talks, performances, and small conferences, as a breakout space, and/or as a dance floor area if you are having a party in the bar area.
The Union Theatre recently moved to new premises opposite the original theatre site and is home to a newly built bar and theatre, as well as study spaces, dressing rooms, and a large rehearsal studio.
