The O2 Arena

About The O2 Arena

The O2 Arena (formerly The Millennium Dome) is a large entertainment venue located on the Greenwich peninsula in South East London. Features include a large indoor concert arena with a 20,000 capacity, a music club, a Cineworld cinema, an exhibition space, bars, piazzas, restaurants, and a guided sightseeing tour to the top of the O2.

On May 31st, 2005, O2 signed a deal to become the new concert venue's namesake, seeing it become known as The O2 Arena. To officially open the venue to the public as a live entertainment venue, the U.S. rock band Bon Jovi performed a sell-out concert.

The O2 Arena is now the world's busiest concert venue with over 2.5 million arena tickets sold in 2023
