The New Wimbledon Theatre is a glorious Grade II listed masterpiece that has stood proudly in Merton for over a century. The theatre has a rich history and has hosted some of the biggest musicals, plays, and performances from across the globe. Architects, Cecil Massey and Roy Young created the first drafts for the theatre with the work finally completed on December 26th, 1910 when the theatre opened its doors to the public.

The theatre produces top-quality shows and features 1,670 seats that are spread across three floors. There are also 80 additional studio seats and average seating capacity ranges above 1,500 people depending on the production.
Disabled seating is also available with seats for companions also offered and hearing devices can be requested. Wheelchair-accessible toilets are available as well as well-stocked bar facilities. Guide dogs are allowed within the venue.
