Brixton House is a new venue in south London, located in the very heart of Brixton.
Brixton House is a home for artists, audiences, and the local community alike.
The main theatre has a capacity of 200 people, and the smaller production space can accommodate up to 120. Both theatres are accessible black box spaces with changeable seating and offer creative and spatial flexibility to both Brixton House artists and visiting companies.
Theatre One has an accessible technical and lighting level, that enables disabled technicians to work there. It also boasts a 4k Projector Screen enabling film screenings and other events.
Theatre Two has a motorised lighting truss that lowers to ground level, is accessible for disabled staff, and provides safe training opportunities to learn technical theatre skills.
The theatres both house varied programmes developed by Brixton House in partnership with associate artists, a young talent development programme, and the local community, as well as national and international tours and co-productions.
