New West End Cast Revealed For The Choir Of Man
As the production enters its final months in the West End, The Choir Of Man welcomes a new cast at the Arts Theatre. The final performance of the popular Jukebox musical will be on 4 January 2026.
The beloved pub-based musical, which features songs from artists such as Paul Simon, Queen, Adele, Luther Vandross, Katy Perry, and Sia, first opened in London in 2021 and has now played to over 280,000 people.
As some of the current London cast will be joining the forthcoming Shanghai production of the show, the West End company is set to welcome back a few familiar faces from the Choir of Man family.
From 2 September, the company will include Paul McArthur (Poet), Jason Brock (Romantic), Aled Pennock (Bore), Ifan Gwilym-Jones (Maestro), Cal T King (Beast), Benji Lord (Joker), Oliver Jacobson (Barman), Tom Carter-Miles (Swing), Alex Mallalieu (Swing), Sam Ebenezer (Swing), and Dave Shute (Swing).
For part of the run, they will be joined by Levi Tyrell Johnson (Hardman, 23 Sep – 4 Jan), Matt Beveridge (Hardman, 2 – 21 Sep), Ben Goffe (Handyman, 2 Sep – 12 Oct), Adam Hilton (Handyman, 14 Oct – 2 Nov) and George Knapper (Handyman, 4 Nov – 4 Jan).
Nic Doodson commented on behalf of the producers, saying, “The Arts Theatre has been our London home for nearly four years, and it’s bittersweet to enter these final months. We’re thrilled to welcome back some brilliant members of our global family, and equally excited for those heading off to represent The Choir of Man in Shanghai. This is the last chance to raise a glass with our West End company before we say goodbye to the Arts Theatre — but not goodbye forever. Watch this space."
