Titus Andronicus Tickets - Hampstead Theatre

Titus Andronicus Tickets - London

Despite the war being over, the real violence has just begun.

When the victorious general Titus Andronicus executes the son of his enemy in a ruthless show of vengeance, he has no idea of the level of evil deeds his actions will incite. As both sides begin to trade ultra-violent acts of retribution, one man looks down and revels in the bloodbath.

Direct from a successful run at the RSC's Swan Theatre, Titus Andronicus transfers to the Hampstead Theatre for a strictly limited London season.

Max Webster forensically examines Shakespeare’s bloodiest play through the prism of 21st-century aggression. Starring Olivier, BAFTA, and Tony Award winner Simon Russell Beale.

Titus Andronicus plays at the Hampstead Theatre. Although the venue first opened back in 1959 as a Scout Hall, it wasn’t until 2003 that what is now the purpose-built theatre finally opened to the public featuring two performance venues.  The theatre is now home to many new writing and ground-breaking productions in London prior to them making the transfer into the West End.

The intimate and cosy theatre has a seating capacity of 325, and has attracted some of the world’s greatest talent over the years,  including Jude Law, Tamsin Greig, John Malkovich, and Felicity Kendal, who have all appeared in shows at the venue.

A nice modern venue with good facilities and decent viewing angles and good sound throughout. Some of the Dress Circle seats are a little cramped and lacking in legroom and width and some seats within the theatre feature slight restrictions due to pillars so studying the seating plan prior to booking tickets is recommended.

This production is suitable for patrons aged 14+.
