Till The Stars Come Down Tickets - Theatre Royal Haymarket

Till The Stars Come Down Tickets - London

It’s Marek and Sylvia's wedding, and all of you are invited as a family gathers on a hot summer's day to welcome a newcomer into their midst. But as the day goes on, the vodka flows, dances are shared, passions bubble to the surface, and the limits of love become tested.

Till The Stars Come Down is a passionate, heartbreaking, and ‘deliriously funny’ (Telegraph) portrayal of a larger-than-life family struggling to adapt to a fast-changing world. An ‘utterly unmissable theatrical event’ (WhatsOnStage) by Beth Steel and directed by Bijan Sheibani at the Theatre Royal Haymarket from 1 July.

What do you do when the happiest day of your life also opens the door to a fresh but uncertain future?

The Theatre Royal Haymarket is a medium size West End theatre that has four levels of seating and a capacity of 893 seats. The venue boasts one of London’s most impressive Victorian auditoriums however, views of the stage can be varied because of the curve in the seating meaning that some seats offer side-angled views. Due to the slight restrictions that exist in some sections, it is recommended to study the seating plan in detail before purchase however all seats with restrictions are clearly labelled.

Premium seats in the theatre are situated in the centre seats of rows E-J and also in the front rows of the Royal Circle which is a good vantage point and has great views of the stage from an elevated position. The front of the Royal Circle has clear-view seating even at the end of rows however central seating offers the best overall experience.

The Theatre Royal Haymarket also has two boxes in the Stalls. Located adjacent to the stage on each side of the auditorium, these boxes contain two seats each and must both be booked as a pair but offer patrons a private experience making them ideal for a ‘date night!’

Bargain hunters searching for cheap tickets to Till The Stars Come Down can find value in the ends of the rows of the Stalls and Royal Circle even with the slight curve in the balcony, and the restricted view seats in the Upper Circle can also provide good value for money as the restrictions are minimal and should not hinder your overall enjoyment! Seats in the Gallery however are very high up on the fourth level and feel distant from the action happening down below. This is reflected in the price but these seats may not be suitable for patrons suffering from vertigo or uncomfortable with heights.

Are Tickets To Till The Stars Come Down Expensive?

When popular shows first open, the demand for tickets can be very strong meaning that it can be very rare to find official discounts or well priced tickets.  Over time though things do usually calm down a little and value start creeping into the ticket price during midweek performances and quiet periods.

Are Balcony And Upper Circle Tickets To Till The Stars Come Down Worth The Money?

There are four tiers in the Theatre Royal Haymarket with seats in the stalls and dress circle being by far the best option if finance is not an issue.  There is some value to be had for tickets in the upper circle however, as they are considerably cheaper than the dress circle and stalls and most of the seats in the section are pretty much unrestricted despite being on the second floor.  The seats in the balcony section though are very high up and it is highly recommended that you check the seating plan thoroughly before booking tickets in this section as despite being priced accordingly most of them cannot be considered to be a 'bargain!'

When Is The Best Time To Book Tickets To Till The Stars Come Down?

As with all shows in the West End there will be quiet periods during the year and if you are flexible with dates then booking tickets during the off peak months of November, January and February can produce big savings.  The weeks that follow on from school holidays throughout the year are also particularly good for bargains especially with shows with a predominatly domestic fanbase, so looking for midweek performances during these weeks should hopefully bring the ticket price down.

Why Do My Tickets To Till The Stars Come Down Include A Booking Fee?

This will depend on where and when you book them?  Booking directly from the box office at the theatre will save money on the booking fee as they will simply charge the face value for tickets.  When booking tickets online or through retail outlets though then you are dealing with a third party and if the agents are having to buy tickets at face value themselves then they will be forced to charge customers a booking fee to turn a profit.  During quieter periods and midweek though the producers of the show will sell to agents at a discount which they can then pass on to the consumer so the booking fee can often be waived and occasionally the tickets can even be sold to the public at a discount.
