The Marilyn Conspiracy Tickets - Park Theatre

Seven people gathered at Marilyn Monroe’s home on Wednesday, August 1st, 1962 to celebrate her new $2m two-picture deal with the movie company, 20th Century Fox.

Just four days later, at 04:30 the following Sunday, August 5th, her apparent suicide was reported to the police and was described as a drug overdose. The truth is far more shocking: Marilyn was discovered unconscious by her housekeeper at 22:35 the night before, and subsequently passed away at 23:40, all after a visit from an extremely important guest...

On Saturday evening, the same seven people then regathered in her home - and yet Marilyn's death was only reported to the police 5 hours later.

What on earth did they talk about?

The Marilyn Conspiracy is a powerful, new, and meticulously researched thriller at the Park Theatre, co-written by Vicki McKellar and Olivier Award-winning director Guy Masterson. One by one, the facts are revealed, lies are exposed, myths debunked, and the shocking truth of the events that happened during those 5 hours is laid bare on stage.

The Park Theatre was discovered by, and is the brainchild of Artistic Director Jez Bond, – who in 2009 took a disused office – realising its potential and transformed the space with a little help from David Hughes Architects – a first time theatre architect. Together, they embarked on a period of extensive research, which involved visiting over 35 theatres of all sizes across the UK, both large, to harness the inspiration and research while collecting the ingredients needed to create the perfect theatre space for the public. The Park Theatre is a two auditorium venue located within a new build property that incorporates both a 200 seat theatre (Park200), along with a smaller and more flexible 90 seat space (Park90). The complex is also complemented by The Morris Space for education and rehearsal purposes, along with a large gallery and café-bar.
