Teeth 'n' Smiles Tickets - Duke Of York's Theatre

Teeth 'n Smiles Tickets - London

To celebrate its 50th anniversary, David Hare’s rebel play, Teeth 'n' Smiles, will showcase for a strictly limited 12-week season at the Duke Of York's Theatre from March - June 2026.

Before Debbie Harry. Before New York Dolls, and before Kurt Cobain, there was Maggie Frisby. Once hailed as the roaring sound of 1960s counterculture, now, disillusioned and broke, a band’s youthful ambitions of anarchic rebellion collapse into bitterness. Amongst the dismay and wreckage, lead singer Maggie tears through the night, fuelled by fury, booze, and a voice that will not die.

Half a century after David Hare’s trailblazing play set London alight at the Royal Court, Teeth ’n‘ Smiles is back, and ready to burn things down to the ground all over again.

The ship may be sinking, but the music remains the same. A ground-breaking play featuring original music starring Rebecca Lucy Taylor (Self Esteem) as Maggie.

Teeth n' Smiles plays at the Duke of York’s Theatre in London. The small West End venue has three levels of seating and a capacity of 642.

Due to the size of the auditorium, certain seats have slightly restricted views of the stage (depending on the production), so studying the seating plan is recommended before purchase as this can benefit both the price you pay for your ticket and the overall experience within the theatre.

Premium seats are towards the front and centre of the Stalls, around rows E and F. Sitting too close to the stage is not recommended as it sits quite high, and you will have to look up throughout the entire performance.

Some seats at the rear are slightly restricted from the overhang of the Royal Circle, however, this is usually reflected in the price. Seats in the Royal Circle offer excellent and unrestricted views from an elevated position and are recommended.

Good value can be found in the Row H bench on the third level in the Upper Circle which is ideal for bargain hunters looking to secure last-minute, or cheap theatre tickets to Teeth n' Smiles - as despite being situated towards the rear, they offer good sight-lines, and are usually reasonably priced. There is often good value in the Upper Circle, but some seats feature restrictions.
