As the first snow of winter begins to fall, there’s not a lot of Christmas cheer in Sherwood. The cupboards are bare, nights are cold, and the cruel Sheriff of Nottingham squeezes citizens for every penny they have. But lurking deep inside the forest, in the heart of the Major Oak Tree, the legendary outlaw Robin Hood is plotting an audacious scheme to bring some much-needed festive joy to everyone.
Will Robin Hood succeed? Can the evil Sheriff be defeated? Will the children of Sherwood have something to celebrate on Christmas Day?
Discover what happens as we bring a new festive chapter of Robin’s adventures to the stage at the Rose Theatre Kingston this Christmas.
Robin Hood and the Christmas Heist is imagined by Olivier Award winner Chris Bush and directed by UK Theatre Award winner Elin Schofield and features a professional cast alongside members of the talented Rose Youth Theatre as the Rose continues its much-loved Christmas tradition in 2024.
