Punch is the latest masterpiece from Olivier Award-winning playwright James Graham, and brings Jacob Dunne’s powerful true-life account to the London stage at the Young Vic.

Following a sold-out run in Nottingham, this five-star production is igniting discussions all over the country, from courthouses and theatres all the way up to the House of Commons.

Nottingham teenager, Jacob Dunne, spends Saturday nights looking for thrills with his friends. On one fateful evening, a single impulsive punch leads to fatal consequences. After serving his time in prison, Jacob finds himself directionless and lost. looking for answers, David and Joan – the parents of his victim James – ask to meet him, which sparks a profound transformation in Jacob’s life.

This production is dedicated to James Hodgkinson and all other victims.

Post-show talks with Jacob Dunne and guests will be held to discuss the show's themes following the performance on 11th March, 7.30 pm, and on 19 March, 2.30 pm.
