Moulin Rouge! The Musical Tickets - Piccadilly Theatre

Moulin Rouge! The Musical Tickets - London

Based on Baz Luhrmann's Academy Award-winning movie, Moulin Rouge! The Musical bursts gloriously into life in the West End, live on stage at the Piccadilly Theatre.

Featuring an eclectic pop score with hits from a host of stars, including Lady Gaga, Madonna, and Elton John, to name but a few, the popular jukebox musical is fast becoming one of the most popular musicals of the 21st Century.

The plot is set in the Montmartre Quarter in Paris and follows lovesick writer Christian, who takes his seat inside the Moulin Rouge where he is greeted by Satine. As things progress, their lives collide epically as the pair grow closer together in a world packed full of extravagance where pretty much anything goes.

Although the show is set in a hedonistic age of the famous Parisian cabaret bar, the music is a collection of over 20 modern hits from a host of international artists, including U2, The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Dolly Parton, and Queen.

It's a story about a time, a story about the people, a story about a place. But most of all, it's a story about love. A love that will live on forever!

How Can I Book Cheap Tickets To Moulin Rouge?

If you are hunting for bargains at the Piccadilly Theatre, it is best to avoid weekends, school holidays, and other peak periods throughout the year, as prices for performances during these times will be high and are unlikely to be reduced. For midweek performances during off-peak times, though, there is value, and studying the seating plan to look for different price bands and where they cut off can pay dividends.

Do They Ever Discount Tickets To Moulin Rouge?

It is rare to find official discount tickets at the Piccadilly Theatre as demand is strong. If you are flexible with dates and can book for midweek performances during the weeks following school holidays, discounts could become available through decent online operators and the official retail outlets in and around Leicester Square.

Should Upper Circle Tickets To Moulin Rouge Be Avoided?

The Upper Circle of the Piccadilly Theatre has several price bands, and very few seats feature a restricted view of the stage, so there is value for tickets if you study the seating plan before purchase. It is possible to save on the price by looking for cut-off points using the seating plan for the different price bands, as two seats next to each other could have as much as a 30% difference in the price!

Will There Be Any Additional Fees When I Book Tickets To Moulin Rouge?

This could depend on where - and when - you book your tickets. If you purchase tickets directly from the box office, there should be no booking fees attached as you are buying from the source. If booking tickets through a third party - such as a website or retail outlet - there could be booking fees attached during peak periods - such as weekends and school holidays - as producers will charge full price to agents, who will then need to add a booking fee to make a profit.

The opposite is the case during quieter periods, as the theatre will sell to agents at negotiated discount rates that they can then pass on to the customer. It is advisable when booking online that you check that suppliers are members of the Society of Ticket Agents and Retailers (STAR), which should be marked to ensure full transparency for all sales.

The Piccadilly Theatre is a medium-sized West End theatre, close to Piccadilly Circus, with three levels of seating with a capacity of 1185.

Premium seats are located in the Stalls section, which benefits from an excellent rake in the seating. Seats located in the middle and centre, in rows G-H have a perfect view. Another good vantage point can be found in the front rows of the Royal Circle for an unobstructed, elevated view of the action.

Bargain hunters searching for last-minute tickets can find value in the front and rear rows of each section of the theatre to exploit the cut-off points of the price bands. An example can be found in row E of the Royal Circle, just one row behind the premium seats, that offers (pretty much) the same view for a fraction of the price! Seats in the Grand Circle and towards the rear of the Stalls are also often discounted, yet still (mostly) offer a clear view of the stage and will suit patrons searching for cheap Moulin Rouge tickets.
