Kimberly Akimbo Tickets - London

'I want an adventure while I still can! And it's going be fun, scary, and really stupid.'

Kimberly Levaco's excitement is building in the run-up to her upcoming sweet 16th – despite the fact she actually looks about 74, due to an unfortunate - and very rare - genetic condition that is prematurely ageing her four times quicker than all her friends. Or, rather, she would be excited - if her parents hadn’t moved suddenly under dubious circumstances, resulting in friends being in short supply right now. But despite her heart aging biologically ahead of its time, it’s recently started beating a little faster after meeting the gorgeous Seth from the ice rink…

Kim is running short of time to explore the big, wide world beyond New Jersey, but she is 100% damn sure she’s going to do it once she can afford it. Whilst her dysfunctional parents appear to be a little short of cash right now, when her ex-con aunt shows up with a new fandangled get-rich-quick scam - illegal or not, Kim decides to go all in for the adventure.

Is it possible that Kim, along with Seth, accompanied by her new show-choir friends, can find first love, pull off a heist, and have the wonderful adventures she has always dreamed of?

Kimberly Akimbo is David Lindsay-Abaire and Jeanine Tesori's profoundly heartwarming and funny musical, and winner of five Tony Awards in 2023, including Best Score, Best Musical, and Best Book, and receives its much-anticipated European premiere in a new production by Michael Longhurst in London at the Hampstead Theatre.

Kimberly Akimbo plays at the Hampstead Theatre in London. The theatre is home to new writing and has hosted many ground-breaking productions, before their transfer to the West End. The intimate and cosy theatre has a capacity of 325

The venue opened back in 1959 as a Scout Hall which has been converted into the purpose-built Hampstead Theatre featuring two performance spaces.

The venue attracts some of the world’s greatest acting talent including Jude Law, Tamsin Greig, John Malkovich, and Felicity Kendal, who have all appeared there.

The Hampstead Theatre is a modern venue with good facilities, decent viewing angles, and good sound. Some Dress Circle seats are a little cramped and lacking in legroom, and width. Some seats in this section feature slight restrictions due to support pillars, so studying the seating plan before booking is recommended.

This production is suitable for patrons aged 14+
