House Of Games Tickets - Hampstead Theatre

House Of Games Tickets - London

Celebrated author and psychoanalyst Dr Margaret Ford has taken on a new client. Billy is addicted to drugs, sex, and, most dangerous of all, gambling large sums of money at the House of Games - an illicit poker lounge. As it happens, Dr Ford is currently searching for subject matter for her next best-selling book - a search which now takes her deep into the Chicago underworld, where she meets Mike, a charismatic gambler. A complex game begins, in which even the players don’t understand the rules, their roles in the game, or who will be holding the trump card at the end...

Jonathan Kent directs House Of Games, the gripping adaptation of David Mamet’s noir thriller from celebrated playwright Richard Bean, who returns to the Hampstead Theatre following success with Reykjavik, Kiss Me, and To Have and To Hold.

House Of Games plays at the Hampstead Theatre in London. The theatre is home to new writing and has hosted many ground-breaking productions, before their transfer to the West End. The intimate and cosy theatre has a capacity of 325

The venue opened back in 1959 as a Scout Hall which has been converted into the purpose-built Hampstead Theatre featuring two performance spaces.

The venue attracts some of the world’s greatest acting talent including Jude Law, Tamsin Greig, John Malkovich, and Felicity Kendal, who have all appeared there.

The Hampstead Theatre is a modern venue with good facilities, decent viewing angles, and good sound. Some Dress Circle seats are a little cramped and lacking in legroom, and width. Some seats in this section feature slight restrictions due to support pillars, so studying the seating plan before booking is recommended.
