Henry V Tickets - St Paul's Church

St Paul's Church, Covent Garden provides the iconic setting for this powerful reimagining of William Shakespeare’s Henry V, where the echoes of war reverberate through the prism of modern-day struggles of men battling trauma. This promenade production immerses its audience into the world of King Henry and his loyal Band of Brothers.

This exciting new production is set against the backdrop of World War II, fusing the timeless story of the fearless leadership of a King alongside the harrowing experiences of military personnel grappling with PTSD and the lasting effects it has on everyday life.

The psychological scars held by men aged between 45 and 65 are explored through the journey of England’s most revered, victorious King. This Henry V delves deeply into the emotional costs and trauma of war championing those who tend to remain silent in the face of extreme trauma: the internal battles that linger on after the physical ones have long since ended. It’s an urgent and poignant reflection on the mental health challenges faced by many of our heroes, from the aftermath of bloody combat to the dark reality of suicide.

Join us for a contemporary, heart-wrenching interpretation of Shakespeare’s masterpiece, presented at the Actors Church by Turtle in the Sack productions.
