The Royal Opera House will stage Hansel and Gretel on selected dates between December 22nd - January 7th.
BEWARE OF THE WOODS...
After being sent to search for strawberries in the woods, the hungry Hansel and Gretel embark on a fantastic adventure. As they gently fall asleep, a magical fairy-tale world comes to life all around them. The mysterious forest is not a safe place for small children, however, and little do they know, that when they wake, something darkly delicious awaits them... Hansel and Gretel can’t believe their good fortune when they stumble across an edible house made of chocolate – but little do they know that their host is a witch in disguise, who has an insatiable appetite – for delicious young children! if they are to survive, Hansel and Gretel must use all their cunning – and break the charm spell that has captured so many children before them.
