Get Down Tonight Tickets - London

"DO A LITTLE DANCE. MAKE A LITTLE LOVE.... GET DOWN TONIGHT!"

Featuring over 20 of KC and the Sunshine Band’s legendary hit songs, including “Give It Up”, “That’s The Way (I Like It), and ”Please Don’t Go”, GET DOWN TONIGHT is a new, and guaranteed-feel-good West End musical inspired by the early years of producer, singer, songwriter, and musician Harry Wayne Casey (KC). Making its London premiere at the Charing Cross Theatre this Autumn, get ready to experience the glowing warmth of KC’s ‘Sunshine Sound’ - an infectious blend of funk, disco, R&B, and pop - that continues to delight all ages, and inspire artists today.

Written by J. F. Lawton, and developed with Harry Wayne Casey (KC) himself, GET DOWN TONIGHT: THE KC AND THE SUNSHINE BAND MUSICAL tells the true story of KC's early years in 1970s Miami in a pulsating tribute to friendship, love, and the music that brought an entire generation together.

So dust off your boogie shoes, put on your flares, and get ready to groove as London now welcomes GET DOWN TONIGHT: THE KC & THE SUNSHINE BAND MUSICAL to the stage for the very first time.

The Charing Cross Theatre is an intimate venue off Villiers Street, under the arches, beneath Charing Cross Railway Station. Most seating in the venue is on one level except for some bench seats in balconies above the stage. The Charing Cross Theatre has a capacity of 265 seats and has employed a traverse layout since 2019 with seating on both sides of the stage. A more traditional proscenium layout is also sometimes used at the venue depending on the production. Views of the stage from any seat in the Stalls are good due to the intimate nature of the theatre however some restrictions do exist from the balcony seats.

Seats in the Stalls are the best option, with the area around Row J being particularly good and offering the best overall view of the action. The high rake in the Stalls ensures that all seats in this section offer great views, and seats at the rear are preferred for a better overall experience, especially for larger productions.

The rear section of the Stalls can also offer better value and be cheaper than the rows at the front, offering an excellent overall view of the stage with rows K-M recommended for good views at a discounted price.
