“We just need to wait for the Gullyman to show his face”
A ghost, a god, or a simple trick of the light.
Urban legend says that Baitface steals the lives and faces of Black Boys. All it takes is to walk underneath a hanging pair of trainers suspended on a telephone wire, face uncovered.
Kai, Khaleem, and Joy are just trying to make it through school. On the evening of an alleged crime, when the spirit of Baitface the Gullyman rears its ugly head, their identities, lives, and friendships start to disintegrate.
G is a bold, visceral new play at the Jerwood Theatre Upstairs at The Royal Court from writer Tife Kusoro, and is a co-production with SISTER.
