‘It’s a new world, a new world. Love.’
It's 1905. In the tiny village of Anatevka, Tevye, a Jewish milkman, lives his life rigidly by following their long-held and proud traditions. For each of his five daughters, this means a visit from the village matchmaker… But as one by one, his daughters begin to challenge his beliefs, against the backdrop of a fast-changing world, can Tevye cling to his roots, or will he be forced to bend to the will of his children and have to embrace the unfamiliar?
Jordan Fein directs a new production of Fiddler On The Roof at the Regent's Park Open Air Theatre featuring the glorious songs, ‘If I Were A Rich Man’, ‘Matchmaker’, ‘Sunrise, Sunset’, and 'Tradition’. The much-loved musical is full of joy, community, and revolution and is an exuberant celebration of life and love.
Fiddler On The Roof is presented by arrangement with Music Theatre International.
