Elektra Tickets - Duke Of York's Theatre

Haunted by her assassination of her father, Elektra is consumed by grief; a need for survival; and a ravishing thirst for vengeance. After her long lost brother Orestes returns at last, she urges him to a terrifying and savage conclusion but at what price?

Brie Larson stars and Daniel Fish directs the first major revival in over a decade of Sophokles’ timeless and electrifying play, ELEKTRA, in a stunning translation by award-winning poet Anne Carson, at the Theatre Royal Brighton and the Duke of York’s  Theatre for a limited and unmissable season.

The Duke of York’s Theatre is a small West End venue which sits on three levels and has a capacity of 642 seats. Due to the she small size of the auditorium certain seats have slightly restricted views of the stage (depending on the production), so it is recommended to study the seating plan in detail prior to purchase as this can benefit both the price you pay for your ticket and the overall experience within the theatre.

Premium seats in the theatre are located towards the front and centre of the Stalls, around rows E and F. Sitting too close to the stage is not recommended as it sits quite high and you will have to look up throughout the entire play.  Seats at the rear are slightly restricted from the overhang from the Royal Circle which should also be noted however this is usually reflected in the price. Seats in the Royal Circle however offer excellent and unrestricted views from an elevated position and are recommended.

Good value can be found in the Row H bench on the third level in the Upper Circle which is ideal for bargain hunters looking to secure last minute theatre tickets or cheap theatre tickets to Elektra as despite being situated towards the rear of the theatre, they offer good overall sight-lines and are usually very reasonably priced. The Upper Circle also has some seats with restrictions but offers good value compared to some other seats within the venue.

This production is recommended for patrons aged 12+
