Coven Tickets - Kiln Theatre

Coven is a scorching new musical at the Kiln Theatre based on England’s most notorious witch trial.

1612. Pendle, Lancs. As a 9-year-old Jennet accuses her own family of witchcraft, a witch hunt is raging. 21 years later, Jennet finds herself imprisoned, and surrounded by the town's most feared women.

As the accuser has become the accused, Jennet must now confront a 250-year legacy of witchcraft and the many dark secrets from her own past. As she listens to the women around her telling their shocking stories, Jennet’s faith starts to crumble.

Olivier Award-winning Miranda Cromwell directs and joins forces with Rebecca Brewer alongside Grammy award-winning Daisy Chute. Coven is a thrilling new musical that combines powerful melodies with uplifting anthems in a fresh re-interrogation of the infamous true story of the Pendle Witch Trials. With the earth beneath their feet and power in their veins, 13 women make their voices heard above the forces that seek to silence them.

Let the trial begin.
