Cake: The Marie Antoinette Playlist Tickets - The Other Palace

Following its limited and electrifying try-out run at The Lyric Theatre in 2023, Paul-Taylor Mills and Bill Kenwright Ltd present the brand-new musical, come ballet, come gig, now back in London for a full reign, as one of the most talked about monarchs in history has finally found her (rightful) palatial home…at The Other Palace, to be exact

Fusing 18th-century France with a multi-genre pop score, Cake: The Marie Antoinette Playlist, retells the events that sparked a revolution. The reign of Marie Antoinette was blighted by scandal and gossip but after she is implicated in a plot to defraud the crown jewelers of a diamond necklace, it is not just her reputation that is at stake, but the reputation of the monarchy, and France itself.

Zizi Strallen reprises her role as Marie Antoinette, along with Renée Lamb as Jeanne.

Cake: The Marie Antoinette Playlist was originally commissioned by Paul Taylor-Mills and promises to redefine audience expectations of what a musical should be.

The Other Palace is a small off-West End theatre located on Palace Street, close to Victoria Station, and has a single level of seating with a capacity of 312 seats.

The Other Palace is an intimate venue and the seats can sometimes be reconfigured depending on the resident production however, the main auditorium offers excellent views of the stage from all seats and has a steep rake and there are no obvious restrictions to views of the stage. Each row has a slight curve, but you can see the entire stage from wherever you sit in the theatre.

The best overall views are situated in the mid-centre of the theatre with rows F-J being particularly good and sitting close-up to the stage for plays and one-off concerts is also recommended.

Value for money can be found by sitting in rows M-N which are often discounted but still offer an amazing and clear view of the stage making them ideal for bargain hunters looking for cheap tickets to Cake: The Marie Antoinette Playlist Equally, the seats at the ends of rows offer good value for money, with completely clear views of the stage, and generally fall into lower price bands
