Billy Elliot the Musical Tickets - Adelphi Theatre

Billy Elliot the Musical Tickets - London

One of the most celebrated and successful British musicals of the 21st century returns to London in 2027 to play at the Adelphi Theatre from 12 February to 31 July.

Billy Elliot the Musical combines an uplifting story with Elton John's unforgettable score. The show originally premiered at the Victoria Palace Theatre in London’s West End in 2005 and became a global phenomenon, captivating global audiences and winning multiple Olivier and Tony Awards.

Billy Elliot remains a modern classic thanks to a blend of iconic music, emotional storytelling, and exhilarating dance sequences. The plot is set in the mid 1980s in a changing Britain, and tells a story of identity, family, and having the courage to follow your passion.

Elton John’s soaring musical score, combined with Lee Hall’s heartfelt writing, creates unforgettable moments that are both uplifting and moving.

Billy Elliot is set against the backdrop of actual historical events during the UK miners’ strike of 1984–85. The period was a time of major social and political upheaval that deeply affected working-class communities all over Britain. The plot follows the fortunes of Billy, a young boy who defies the expectations of his family and community when he discovers a passion for ballet.

The musical captures the tensions, hopes, and hardships of the time, fusing Billy's personal ambition with a wider story about societal change, self-expression, and resilience.

Billy Elliot the Musical plays at the Adelphi Theatre. The theatre is a large venue with three levels of seating and a capacity of 1497. The price of tickets fluctuates throughout all three levels due to various overhangs and obstructions, so studying the seating plan in detail before purchase is recommended. Value in the ticket price can be found by exploiting price band cut-off points.

Premium seats are towards the centre of rows within each section. For the best experience, the centre of the front rows of the Dress Circle offers spectacular and panoramic views of the stage. For a more intimate and close-up viewing experience, it is beneficial to sit in the centre section of the Stalls.

For those on a budget or looking to book cheap tickets, the front row of the Upper Circle offers good value and is regularly discounted; however, these seats come with limited legroom.
