From writer Harry McDonald and director Charlotte Vickers comes an adaptation of the Booker-Prize shortlisted novel from Ali Smith at the Park Theatre. As divides between people become ever more noticeable, Autumn discovers connections through experience and time, and the sheer resilience of the most unlikely of love stories.
It's Summer 2016, and Britain has just voted to leave the European Union, Elisabeth has returned to the village where she grew up, and Daniel, her elderly former next-door neighbour won’t wake up. The library is closed, new fences are going up, and her mother keeps talking about the new antiques program on TV.
Elsewhere, the sleeping Daniel Gluck is dreaming – about his long-lost little sister, of Christine Keeler; of poetry, art, and music.
