Arcadia Tickets - London

Sex, the one attraction Newton left out.’

Burning hearts, brilliant minds, and the unstoppable pull between order and chaos.

Genius unfolds, two centuries apart, in a country house. A teenage prodigy unlocks the mathematics of the universe, as all of the adults around her fail to conceal their passions under reason. In the present day, scholars chase the ghosts of that same household — seeking proof, truth, and maybe, each other.

Arcadia is the witty, moving, and flirtatious masterpiece from Tom Stoppard, brought thrillingly to life at The Old Vic by acclaimed director Carrie Cracknell.

Arcadia plays at the Old Vic Theatre.  The medium-sized venue is located on The Cut, close to Waterloo Station, and has three levels of seating with a capacity of 1364.

The auditorium is built in a semi-circle and offers a variety of views of the stage, which can be extended to accommodate the production. Different price bands are available within the venue.

Premium seats and the best overall views of the stage are found in the centre of rows E-L in the Stalls, and in rows A-D of the Dress Circle.

Good value for tickets to Arcadia can be found in the back two “restricted view” rows of the Stalls, which offer a relatively clear view of the stage. While these seats are a little distant from the stage, they do benefit from having plenty of legroom! Alternatively, the Lilian Baylis Circle on the third level also provides a good option for potential bargains and last-minute tickets.

This production is recommended for patrons aged 14+.

Where Is The Best Place In The Theatre To Book Good Value Tickets At The Old Vic?

The two back rows of the stalls are officially classed as 'restricted view' but offer a good view of the stage and good legroom. Another section that offers good value for tickets at the Old Vic is in the 'Lilian Baylis' circle, where bargains can also be found.

Where Can I Find Premium Seats At The Old Vic?

Seats located centrally at the front of the stalls from rows E through to L are generally classified as Premium, along with rows A to D in the dress circle. All tickets will be priced accordingly in these sections.

Why Is There A Booking Fee Added To The Price Of My Tickets At The Old Vic?

As productions at the venue tend to run for strictly limited seasons and feature big-name actors, it is unusual to find official discount tickets at the Old Vic. Producers naturally wish to maximise profit, and should they feel they can fill the theatre at face value, it is unlikely they will offer discounts to agents. This will result in online agents charging a booking fee for your purchase. Booking tickets directly from the box office at the theatre can be beneficial for some productions at the Old Vic, as they should be sold at face value.
