Apex Predator Tickets - Hampstead Theatre

Mia is stuck in a flat and going out of her mind with a baby that won’t feed. Her son Alfie is getting bullied at school; her husband Joe is working long hours for the police on a specific job that he can’t talk about; the neighbour keeps blasting out music at 2am; and another dead body has just been found in the Thames.

As Mia searches desperately for things that she can control in her life, Alfie’s teacher Ana proposes a rather unconventional path to empowerment – and all of a sudden, the hunted becomes the hunter…

Apex Predator is John Donnelly’s genre-busting new play and sophisticated critique of modern life and a supernatural thriller. Director Blanche McIntyre returns to the Hampstead Theatre following her record-breaking production of The Invention of Love.

Although the venue first opened back in 1959 as a Scout Hall, it wasn’t until 2003 that what is now the purpose-built Hampstead Theatre finally opened to the public featuring two performance venues.  The Hampstead Theatre is now home to many new writing and ground-breaking productions in London prior to them making the transfer into the West End.

The intimate and cosy theatre has a seating capacity of 325, and has attracted some of the world’s greatest talent over the years,  including Jude Law, Tamsin Greig, John Malkovich, and Felicity Kendal, who have all appeared in shows at the venue.

A nice modern venue with good facilities and decent viewing angles and good sound throughout. Some of the Dress Circle seats are a little cramped and lacking in legroom and width and some seats within the theatre feature slight restrictions due to pillars so studying the seating plan prior to booking tickets is recommended.

This production is suitable for patrons aged 14+
