A Night With Janis Joplin Tickets - Peacock Theatre

Mary Bridget Davies stars as Janis Joplin in this multi-award-winning show at the Peacock Theatre. Direct from Broadway, this extraordinary musical journey pays homage to Janis and her musical influences.

In 1967, Janis Joplin exploded onto the international music scene, like a comet burning far too brightly to last, and became the queen of rock & roll. Her unmistakable voice, filled with raw emotion and tinged with a dash of Southern Comfort, made her a must-see headline act from Monterey to Woodstock.

Featuring her back catalogue of unforgettable songs including “Mercedes Benz”, “Me and Bobby McGee,” “Cry Baby”, “Piece of My Heart”, and “Summertime”, and a remarkable cast, A Night with Janis Joplin, is written and directed by Randy Johnson. This musical journey celebrates Janis and all of her biggest musical influences, such as Nina Simone, Aretha Franklin, Odetta, Etta James, and Bessie Smith.

A Night with Janis Joplin was launched in 2011 and toured successfully for 2 years, breaking box office records. In October 2013, the production opened to rave reviews on Broadway and had a successful run in Japan in 2022.

Mary Bridget Davies who plays Janis in the production, received a Tony Award® nomination for 'Best Lead Actress in a Musical'.

A Night With Janis Joplin is directed by Randy Johnson, with casting by Anne Vosser and choreography by Patricia Wilcox.

Where Are The Best Value Tickets At The Peacock Theatre?

For patrons looking to secure bargains when booking tickets at the Peacock Theatre the seats in the dress circle do consistently offer value for money thanks to the good raking of the seats.  There are actually very few seats in the auditorium that feature restrictions so taking advantage of the cheaper options in the theatre's pricing structure can pay dividends.  Looking for the cut off rows where the premium seats end and the cheaper seats start is always a good strategy as you will often find seats directly behind or next to each other that have very different price tags despite having more or less the same view of the stage.

Where Are The Best Seats At The Peacock Theatre Located?

Generally speaking, the central seats in the stalls from row D along to row M are considered to be the Premium seats in the venue and offer a clear and totally unobstructed view of the stage.  Tickets in the Peacock Theatre in these rows will usually be charged accordingly however so patrons searching for best value for money may want to look at other sections of the theatre such as the first few rows of the stalls or the dress circle that are regularly discounted.
