A Mirrored Monet Tickets - London
It's Paris, 1916. Claude Monet struggles to finish the commission that will eventually define his legacy: The Water Lilies — a project on which his very survival depends, with the ability to acquire food and other essential supplies at stake as the horrors of World War I encroach. Plagued by a frustrating and persistent creative block, he retreats deep into his past, revisiting happier days spent with his contemporaries Manet and Renoir and his muse, Camille Doncieux.
Inspired by diaries and letters from Monet and his peers, A Mirrored Monet focuses on the man behind the masterpieces to immerse the audience in the salons, cafés, and studios of Belle Époque Paris, with projections and music to bring the era vividly to life.
This dramatic new musical at the Charing Cross Theatre by composer/dramatist/lyricist Carmel Owen stars Jeff Shankley as Monet and Dean John-Wilson as Young Monet.
