Full casting for Orlando has now been announced ahead of its opening in the West End this autumn. Previews of Orlando will begin at the Garrick Theatre on November 26th, with an official opening night on December 5th, and performances due to run until February 25th, 2023. London theatre tickets to Orlando are currently available to book both online and through the box office .
Emma Corrin (The Crown) is to play Orlando in the production. Corrin will be joined by Olivier-winning actress and Tony-nominated actress Deborah Findlay in the role of Mrs Grimsditch. The rest of the talented cast will be made up of Millicent Wong, Jessica Alade, Richard Cant, Melissa Lowe, Debra Baker, Akuc Bol, Lucy Briers, Jodie McNee, and Oliver Wickham.
Orlando is by Virginia Woolf and follows the title character who embarks on a 500 year journey to discover how to live authentically. The story of Orlando was inspired by Woolf's lover, Vita Sackville-West.
Michael Grandage will direct Neil Bartlett's adaptation of Orlando which will feature composition and sound design by Alex Baranowski, set and costume design by Peter McKintosh, and lighting design by Howard Hudson.
Performances of Orlando will begin at the Garrick Theatre from November 26th. The Theatre has three levels with premium seating being in the centre of the Stalls section and also the front of the Dress Circle for those who prefer looking down at the stage from an elevated position. There are several sections within the venue that have slight restrictions to the view of the stage so studying the seating plan of the venue in detail is recommended prior to purchase. Taking advantage of the cut off points of the different pricing bands within the venue can pay dividends for bargain hunters looking to secure lastminute theatre tickets and there are plenty of clear view seats in the Upper Circle for patrons looking for cheap Orlando tickets however, be advised that as these are quite high up on the third level they may not suit everyone.
