Harry Potter & The Cursed Child Announces New Cast In London
A fresh new cast has been announced for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in London at the Palace Theatre. The new cast members will join the company from 15 October. Performances of the production have also been extended to 26 July 2026.
The new appointments are made up of Joshua Sullivan, who will star as Albus Potter, Oliver Boot as Draco Malfoy, Kai Spackman as Scorpius Malfoy, and Tamia-Renée Alexandra as Rose Granger-Weasley. Continuing in their roles as Harry and Ginny Potter will be David Ricardo-Pearce and Claire Lams, with Naana Agyei-Ampadu and Thomas Aldridge as Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley.
Also joining the company will be Hollie Beastall, Ricardo Castro, David Annen, Laveda Dione, Angeline Bell, Jacqueline Beaumont, Robert Curtis, Gabriel Fleary, Sebastian Halford, Cate Hamer, Emma Louise Jones, Tim Hibberd, Aidan Garrett Wilkins, Nathan Muwowo, Max Hunter, Joshua Talbot, Louise Ludgate, Laura June Ness, Dewayne Jameson Adams, Geffen Katz-Kaye, Jocelyn Prah, Sophie Matthew, Rachel Kirk, Mariam Pope, David Nairne, Helen Power, Claire Redcliffe, Adam Slynn, Ian Redford, Martin de los Santos, Callum Tempest, Alex Tomkins, and Jake Tuesley. Jasper Franklin, Theo Martin, Effie Linnen, Harper Tricker, and Zachary Seaton alternate two children’s roles.
Harry Potter & The Cursed Child is an original story by J.K. Rowling, John Tiffany, and Jack Thorne that picks up the story 19 years after Harry, Hermione, and Ron saved the wizarding world from Lord Voldemort. New challenges rise to the surface and begin to interfere with the past as the new generation of students arrives at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
The creative team features direction by John Tiffany, set by Christine Jones, movement by Steven Hoggett, costumes by Katrina Lindsay, sound by Gareth Fry, arrangements and music by Imogen Heap, lighting by Neil Austin, illusions and magic by Jamie Harrison, and music supervision and arrangements by Martin Lowe.
