A new booking period has been announced for Nicholas Hytner’s immersive production of Guys & Dolls, which will now continue performances at the Bridge Theatre, until August 2024, with Daniel Mays returning to show in the role of Nathan Detroit.
The immersive adaptation of the much-loved classic musical comedy, allows audiences to experience the bustling streets of Manhattan, the bars of Havana, and Adelaide's Hot Box Club right in front of them. Guys & Dolls features Frank Loesser's timeless score and is a tale of gamblers, showgirls, and unlikely romances in 1950s New York City.
Daniel Mays returns to the role of Nathan Detroit from October 16th with George Ioannides taking on the role of Sky Masterson.
Other notable members of the talented cast include Cedric Neal as Nicely-Nicely Johnson, Celinde Schoenmaker as Sarah Brown, Marisha Wallace Miss Adelaide, Jordan Castle as Harry the Horse, Cornelius Clarke as Lieutenant Brannigan, Cameron Johnson as Big Jule, Anthony O’Donnell as Arvide Abernathy, Mark Oxtoby as Benny Southstreet, Ryan Pidgen as Rusty Charlie and Katy Secombe General Cartwright will continue with the production.
Completing the ensemble in the musical will be Iroy Abesamis, Charlotte Scott, Dale White, Kathryn Barnes, Lydia Bannister, Jack Butterworth, Callum Bell, Cindy Belliot, Ike Fallon, Petrelle Dias, Robbie McMillan, Saffi Needham, Perry O’Dea, Leslie Garcia Bowman, Simon Anthony, Tinovimbanashe Sibanda, James Revell, Isabel Snaas, and Sasha Wareham.
