Sabrina Wu is set to star in Graceland by Ava Wong Davies at the Royal Court Theatre next month. Previews of Graceland will begin on February 9th, with an official opening night scheduled for February 15th, and performances are due to run until March 11th.
Graceland follows the fortunes of a young woman who flirts and falls madly in love, only to discover that love, at first sight, may not even exist. Sabrina Wu takes on the role of the young woman following her recent appearance in The Doctor at the Duke of York’s Theatre.
Anna Himali Howard will direct Graceland, which will also feature design by Mydd Pharo, sound design by Anna Clock, and lighting design by Jai Morjaria.
Other upcoming shows at the Royal Court include Sound of the Underground and Black Superhero.
Graceland will open at the Royal Court Theatre which is a small off-West End theatre located on Sloane Square with a capacity of 389 seats on three levels compromising the larger Jerwood Theatre Downstairs and the intimate Jerwood Theatre Upstairs. Flexible seating is used to suit each production and there are generally good views of the action throughout the auditorium.
The best seats in the venue are located in the Stalls which have good clear views of the stage, although the intimate auditorium allows for close-up views wherever you are seated. The Circle is also a good vantage point to get clear views of the stage from an elevated position.
Patrons on a budget or just looking to book cheap Graceland tickets can find good value either in the Balcony on the second floor, or in the Slips in the Circle where tickets are usually moderately priced and offer a clear view of the stage.
