Tina - The Tina Turner Musical Reveals Final London Casting

Final London casting for Tina - The Tina Turner Musical has been announced to perform until the end of its run at the Aldwych Theatre in the West End.

Based on the life and career of the legendary American singer, Tina has enjoyed global success with eight stage productions of the show running worldwide since first opening in London in 2018, and a tour of the UK and Ireland that launched earlier this year. Tina is the longest-running stage show ever staged at the Aldwych Theatre.

The West End production will welcome presenter and recording artist Fleur East to make her stage debut this summer alongside current star Karis Anderson in the title role.

Tina’s grandmother, GG will continue to be played by Irene Myrtle Forrester, with Christian James joining the West End cast as Roger Davies, Tina’s manager, Dan O’Brien taking on the role of Erwin Bach. and Samuel Sarpong-Broni also joining appearing as Raymond Hill, Tina’s first love.
Charlotte St Croix will remain in the cast as standby Tina, and Carole Stennett as Tina’s mother, Zelma.

The roles of lyricist Terry Britten and record producer Phil Spector will be played by Matt Dempsey, with James Chisholm joining the cast as Richard Bullock - Tina’s father, Natasha J Barnes as Rhonda Graam - the band's manager, and Chrissie Bhima who stars as Alline Bullock - Tina’s sister.

Featuring in the final ensemble will be Angelis Hunt as Tina’s son Ronnie, Ria Turner as Toni, Sarah Freer as Lorraine, Craig Armstrong as Carpenter, and Keanu Adolphus Johnson as Tina’s son Craig. Appearing as the Ikettes will be Marion Fagbemi, Vanessa Dumatey, and Equiana Givans and the swings are Raiaz Fisher, Tré Copeland-Williams, Annell Odartey, Joey James, Peter Houston, Tamsin January, Jordan Louis-Fernand, Samuel J Weir, Marisha Morgan, and Clio Tamai.

New members of the children’s cast being welcomed into the London show are Ariella Warburton, Keilah Kofi, and Rhianne King, along with Lola McCourtie who carries on as the Young Anna Mae Bullock. Brielle Owusu Ansah, and Diuneusa Miguel join as Young Craig and Young Alline Bullock.

The musical was written by Frank Ketelaar, Katori Hall and Kees Prins. Phyllida Lloyd directs the London production that has choreography from Anthony van Laast, sound by Nevin Steinberg, musical supervision by Nicholas Skilbeck, set and costume designs by Mark Thompson, wigs, hair, and makeup design by Campbell Young Associates, lighting by Bruno Poet, fight direction by Kate Waters, orchestrations by Ethan Popp, projection design by Jeff Sugg, and casting by Richard Johnston for Pippa Ailion and Natalie Gallacher.

Tina - The Tina Turner Musical in the West End will close on 13 September 2025.
