Casting has been announced for Robert Icke'splay, Manhunt, at the Royal Court. The play charts the events of one of the most infamous manhunts in UK history and will begin performances in London on March 28th.
Icke, who recently adapted and directed Player Kings ( a combination of Henry IV: Parts 1 and 2) and Oedipus in the West End, now makes his debut at the Royal Court with the world premiere of Manhunt. The production explores the events following Raoul Moat's release from Durham Prison in 2010.
The cast includes Trevor Fox, Samuel Edward-Cook, Patricia Jones, Danny Kirrane, Leo James, Sally Messham, Angela Lonsdale, and Nicolas Tennant.
Odhran Riddell and Nathan Jago will alternate the roles of Zoe Bryan and Boy, with Madeleine McKenna alternating the role of Girl.
The wider creative team will include designer Hildegard Bechtler, fight director Kev McCurdy, sound designer Tom Gibbons, lighting designer Azusa Ono, and video designer Ash J Woodward.
