Full Casting Revealed For 'Titanique'

Latest West End News

Full casting has been revealed ahead of the much-anticipated West End transfer of Titanique, which will 'cast off' at the Criterion Theatre on December 9th.

The talented cast will feature Darren Bennett as Victor Garber / Luigi, Lauren Drew as Céline, Stephen Guarino as Ruth, Jordan Luke Gage as Cal, Kat Ronney as Rose, Rob Houchen as Jack, Charlotte Wakefield as Molly Brown and Layton Williams as the Iceberg. The remainder of the cast is made up of Freddie King, Adrianne Langley, Madison Swan, Rodney Vubya, and Kristina Walz.

Titanique opened in June 2022 off-Broadway at Asylum Theater, before transferring onto Broadway at the Daryl Roth Theatre later that year. The musical comedy combines the Oscar-winning, blockbuster film Titanic, with Céline Dion's music and asks what really happened to Jack and Rose on the night the Titanic sank.

Producers Michael Harrison and Eva Price commented: “We’re overjoyed to see this production come to life in the UK, and thrilled to have brought together this dream team to launch our West End season. When we first set out to cast Titanique, we knew we needed an ensemble that could bring the perfect mix of humour, heart, and talent to this wildly fun show. We can’t wait to welcome them all aboard the ship in London and for audiences to experience the star power this cast will bring to our story.”

Titanique is co-written by Constantine Rousouli, Marla Mindelle, and Tye Blue (who also directs). The wider creative team includes Ellenore Scott (director), Nicholas James Connell (music supervision, orchestrations, and arrangements), Grace Lauchbacher and Gabriel Hainer Evansohn (scenic design), Paige Seber (lighting design), Alejo Vietti (costume design) and Lawrence Schober (sound design).

The Criterion Theatre is an intimate West End theatre situated in Piccadilly Circus very heart of theatreland and has a capacity of 581 seats.

The auditorium generally offers good views throughout, however, some support pillars are dotted throughout the different sections, which can cause minor restrictions to the overall view of the stage in both the Stalls and Dress Circle.

Any restrictions are reflected in the ticket price and those seats affected are sold as restricted view however, it is highly recommended to study the seating plan in detail before purchase.

Premium seats in the theatre are located in both the front row of the Dress Circle in seats 12-21, and also in the centre of the Stalls section where the views of the stage are excellent.

Bargain hunters looking to book cheap tickets to Titanique can take advantage of the number of pillars situated in the venue, as the price of some seats can be heavily reduced, and provide value depending on the severity of the restriction. The front row of the Upper Circle also offers excellent value for money in the seats towards the ends of the rows which provide a good view of the stage and are regularly discounted.
