The Phantom of the Opera to Welcome Back Beatrice Penny-Touré as 'Christine' in London
Beatrice Penny-Touré is set to return to the cast of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera as Christine Daaé for a limited run as the musical continues performances at His Majesty’s Theatre in the West End.
Penny-Touré made her professional debut in the West End in 2022, covering and playing Christine Daaé. Her previous stage credits include Mary Poppins, Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends, and The Book of Mormon. Her most recent role has been as Cosette in the Les Misérables Arena World Tour.
She will appear in the show from 2nd March to 9th May.
Other current key members of the cast include Dean Chisnall as The Phantom, Joanna Ampil as Carlotta Giudicelli, Adam Rhys-Charles as Raoul, Adam Linstead as Monsieur André, Martin Ball as Monsieur Firmin, Bradyn Debysingh as Ubaldo Piangi, Helen Hobson as Madame Giry, and Millie Lyon as Meg Giry. For some performances, the role of Christine Daaé will be taken by Colleen Rose Curran.

The plot of the musical follows the disfigured Phantom and his obsession with young soprano Christine Daaé. Andrew Lloyd Webber’s mesmerising musical score features a number of memmorable songs including "All I Ask of You","The Music of the Night", "Masquerade", "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again", and the title song.
