Jason Donovan returns to the iconic role of Frank ‘n’ Furter for the first time in the UK for over 25 years as he joins the cast of The Rocky Horror Show in the West End this September, as part of a nationwide tour. The musical will run at the Dominion Theatre in London for two weeks.
Donovan commented on the appointment: "I am thrilled to dive into the exhilarating role of Frank 'n' Furter with a fantastic new cast and Timewarp with audiences throughout the UK. We promise to deliver the freshest Rocky EVER, that audiences will not forget. So, buckle up, as the show promises to be a wild and wicked ride!"
Donovan made his West End debut playing the lead role in the London revival of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in 1991. His other stage credits include Grease The Musical and Priscilla Queen of the Desert.
The plot of The Rocky Horror Show follows the fortunes of two squeaky clean college kids, Brad and his fiancée Janet, who meet Dr Frank ’n’ Furter by chance after their car breaks down outside his house whilst on their way to visit their old college professor.

The Dominion Theatre is a large venue with a capacity of 2083 seats and has two levels of seating. Both the Stalls and Circle sections of the venue are divided into separate blocks, which allows for good legroom and there are excellent views of the stage throughout.
