A new actress has been revealed to take over title the role in the hit West End show Tina - The Tina Turner Musical later this month. Performances of the popular musical are currently scheduled to continue at the Aldwych Theatre until at least September 3rd, 2023. Kristina Love is to join the West End company on October 12th, and will share the role playing rock n' roll icon Tina Turner along with Elesha Paul Moses. Love has already played 'Tina Turner' in Germany in the Hamburg production of the Musical.
Speaking about her new appointment, Love commented, “After having met [Tina Turner] on my birthday in 2018, performing with her and receiving her blessing at the Hamburg opening, I count it a great honour to be entrusted with performing her life story. I am grateful to be continuing my Tina journey at the same time as making my West End debut.”
