Happy hour in the West End is set to continue as The Choir of Man has extended its run in London at the Arts Theatre up to at least May 28th 2023. Tickets to The Choir of Man are available to book both online and through the box office.
Following a brief spring engagement earlier this year, The Choir of Man returned to Arts Theatre where it is now established as the resident show in the venue. The musical features a group of nine men in a pub setting who sing about the power of togetherness and community using songs by stars such as Adele, Guns ‘N’ Roses, and Avicii. The action all takes place in a British pub, complete with a full working bar on stage.
The cast of The Choir of Man includes Levi Tyrell-Johnson, Michael Baxter, Matt Beveridge, Lucas Koch, Ben Norris, Owen Bolton, Sam Ebenezer, Mark Irwin, Lemuel Knights, Matt Nalton, Jordan Oliver, Gavin Ryan, and Matt Thorpe.
The Choir Of Man was created by Nic Doodson and Andrew Kay, with Doodson also directing. The show features musical supervision, orchestrations and vocal arrangements from Jack Blume, monologues written by Ben Norris, movement direction and choreography by Freddie Huddleston, scenic design by Oli Townsend, sound design by Sten Severson, lighting design by Richard Dinnen, costume design and associate scenic design by Verity Sadler, and casting by Debbie O'Brien.
The show was produced by Immersive Everywhere, Andrew Kay, Nic Doodson, Wendy & Andy Barnes and AK Theatricals and features Associate Choreographer, Rachel Chapman and Associate Musical Director is Hollie Cassar.
Booking & Theatre Info For The Choir Of Man
Performances of The Choir of Man are at the Arts Theatre which is a small West End venue conveniently located close to both Covent Garden and Leicester Square and has a capacity of 353 seats on two levels.
The theatre has good overall sight-lines throughout however there are a few slight restrictions in the seats at the ends of Row J, which are situated are behind pillars, and also in rows M and N, which are affected by the overhang from the Circle. Seats on the sides in the slips of the Circle also feature a slight restriction to the view of the stage.
The best seats are located in the centre of the Stalls in rows B-H and also in the Circle in rows B-C which give a completelky clear line of sight to see all the action.
Value for money can be found in the slips seats in the Circle which are regularly discounted, due to the side-on view. These offer excellent value, particularly in seats 8-14. These are benches rather than seats, but are cushioned with a back rest and although a little leaning is required, the entire stage can be seen for a discount price to suit bargain hunters on a budget looking for lastminute shows or cheap tickets to The Choir Of Man.
