Latest West End News  Theatre Tickets London

Full casting has been announced ahead of the much-anticipated West End transfer of Peter Morgan’s Patriots, which will begin previews at the Noël Coward Theatre on May 26th, with an official opening night scheduled for June 6th, and performances due to run until August 19th.

Will Keen will once again play the role of Vladimir Putin; which earned him an Olivier Award for 'Best Actor in a Supporting Role.' Tom Hollander will reprise his role as Boris Berezovsky, alongside fellow Almeida Theatre cast members: Luke Thallon as Roman Abramovich, Jessica Temple, Matt Concannon, Sean Kingsley, Ronald Guttman, and Paul Kynman. Howard Gossington, Josef Davies, Lydia Fraser, Matt McClure, Ashley Gerlach, Stefanie Martini, and Peter Eastland now join up with the West End company.

The plot of Patriots is set in 1991 at the fall of the Soviet Union and focuses on billionaire businessman Boris Berezovsky, who at first, is a keen supporter of both Yeltzin and Putin. As the years pass though, their relationships deteriorate, and he finds himself as public enemy number one.

Patriots is directed by Rupert Goold and features set design by Miriam Buether, sound design by Adam Cork, co-costume design by Buether and Deborah Andrews, and lighting design by Jack Knowles.

Booking & Theatre Info For Patriots

The Noel Coward Theatre is a medium size West End theatre which has a capacity of 960 seats and is built in a grand and traditional style. Due to the layout of the theatre, some views of the stage at the Noel Coward Theatre are restricted towards the ends of rows and in the higher sections of the venue because of its horseshoe shape.

Premium seats in the theatre are situated in the Stalls around the centre of rows F-G, although when searching for value it is worth noting that the surrounding seats in this section of the theatre also offer good and clear views and as most seats in the Stalls are priced similarly it can be beneficial to sit five or six rows back from the front to get the best visual experience. The front section of the Dress Circle is also a good option for good panoramic views of the stage.

There are also six boxes in the Noel Coward Theatre – 2 on the ground floor in the Stalls and a further 4 one level up in the Dress Circle which offer excellent views and offering a very close-up and personal experience.

The Upper Circle on the third level of the venue is considered very good value for those on a budget looking to book cheap Patriots tickets as although legroom can be a little tight, it is possible to enjoy the production with a clear view of the stage over the safety rail. Other value can be found in the rear of the Stalls section where seats are also discounted regularly.
