‘One of these men is Genius to the other; And so, of these, which is the natural man And which the spirit? who deciphers them?’ – Act V, scene 1
Returning by popular demand, it's time to experience ‘the Globe Theatre at its most joyous’ (WhatsOnStage) as our ★★★★ production of Shakespeare's classic play, The Comedy of Errors will make a triumphant return this summer.
The Globe is transformed into a bustling dock – complete with piers and ship masts – as you are transported back to Elizabethan London, where the Great Bard's wild comedy about long-lost siblings, rival cities, and mistaken identities comes to ‘brisk, boisterous, and rib-tickling’ life (The Times) with ‘boundless energy and slapstick silliness’ ★★★★ (Broadway World).
Globe Associate Artistic Director Sean Holmes and 2023 Globe Resident Associate Director Naeem Hayat return to co-direct the production.
