Miss I-Doll is a rip-roaring, explosive one-actress-one-pianist comedy musical at The Other Palace Studio that sees a single performer playing multiple characters who gather in a grotesque situation: the nationally televised final of a reality show, where all of the nonsenses and contradictions of our time emerge shamelessly. It is a fast-paced, funny, and dark comedy about a young woman seeking to reclaim her power and identity in a deceptive and not-altogether-as-inclusive-as-it-pretends-to-be society driven by unrealistic and shallow media-generated standards. Miss I-Doll is a modern-day story of capitalism gone wrong, a rollercoaster of laughter, satire, and pop music.
