How To Fight Loneliness Tickets - Park Theatre

‘No Hollywood end to this. No last-minute rescue. This… right here… with you… is the best chance I’ve got…’

Brad and Jodie seem to have it all. A nice house in the suburbs, the fully stocked bar, the nice car. But when they are suddenly faced with a devastating crisis, the couple must delve deep into Jodie's past to seek the help of a mysterious acquaintance.

The Park Theatre presents the dark, dazzling, and timely UK premiere of How To Fight Loneliness as Tony Award-nominated Neil LaBute looks unflinchingly at how we navigate our lives when our time is running out.

LaBute’s shocking yet tender play is directed by Stratford East’s newly appointed Artistic Director Lisa Spirling from the producers of the 5-star Park Theatre hits The Shape of Things and Clybourne Park.

The stalls section in Park200 sits on the lower ground level and has head-on views of the stage, with the circle level on the upper ground slightly above the stage that offers elevated views of the action.

The theatre is usually laid out in a thrust configuration with the stage sticking out towards the seating area. For some productions, there may be some extra seating to create an ‘in-the-round’ configuration.

The theatre has a capacity of up to 200 people with the stalls containing banks of bench seating with the left and right sections by the stage featuring 3 benches of 9-13 seats. The central block consists of 5 rows of 10-20 seats with the rows of benches raked to offer clear views of the stage so the back row of each seating bank sits on the same level as the entrance. The benches towards the back of the stalls are slightly longer, and in the front row, the stage sits directly in front of you at knee level.
